Anti Exam Blues Ceilidh

To much revision?  To many exams? Stressed?  You need a break!

Come and have a good dance at our Ceilidh.  Music is provided by one of CeilidhSoc’s incomparable scratch bands.  The interval spot will be the relaxing sounds of the Sheffield Eurosession.

Remember, it’s been proven by experts that aerobic exercise is good for the brain as well as reducing stress.

Tickets are the usual price (£4, or £3 for members before 9pm) and a reminder; please don’t BYOB, as the Edge bar will as usual serve drinks and provide water free of charge.

The MONSTER End of year Ceilidh with the MONSTER CEILIDH BAND!!!!

Prepare yourself for a feast of cross-genre ceilidh music from those juggernauts of traditional folk drum and bass.  It’s going to be dark, sexy with lots of glow sticks.

Calling by CeilidhSoc’s own John Brown! Don’t miss it!  Check out their website here.

If that wasn’t enough, there will be an interval spot by The Outside Capering Crew with their English morris dancing for the 21st Century: sometimes flashy, sometimes comic, and always with exhilarating music.

What a great way to end the year!  See you there!

The Ceilidhsoc session has a new venue! It is now held at The Three Cranes (74 Queen Street) at 9pm every Tuesday. Musicians and non-musicians are all welcome. The session is a great opportunity for those new and old members of the society to get together to chat, play music and swap tunes.
